LUC Spring Newsletter 2021
In October, China will host the UN Conference on Biological Diversity (COP15), almost 30 years since a similar UN conference in Brazil introduced the term ‘biodiversity’. As the global ecological crisis deepens, COP15 is considered one of the most important geopolitical events of a generation – an attempt to halt the overwhelming decline in species that, if unchecked, will have untold consequences for human life on earth.
Responding to the ecological crisis lies at the heart of LUC. In recent months we’ve strengthened our ecological capabilities, doubling our in-house team and introducing new services.
We’re already playing our part in protecting the UK’s habitats and species, working in collaboration with our clients and project partners. This newsletter takes a look at how all of LUC is engaged in supporting and furthering biodiversity.
