LUC submits Deangate Community Parkland planning proposals on behalf of Medway Council
LUC is pleased to announce that we have successfully submitted a planning application for the Deangate Community Parkland on the Hoo Peninsula in Kent on behalf of Medway Council.
LUC worked closely with BPTW as a planning consultant on developing Deangate Community Parkland, on the site of the former Deangate Ridge Golf Course.
The updated 43.3-hectare public open space will focus on wildlife and ecology protection. It will also provide accessible all-weather routes to promote passive recreation and access to nature.
Following a public consultation earlier this summer, 86% of responders said they would likely visit the park when it opens. The consultation results can be viewed here.
The team is looking forward to receiving a positive decision from the Medway Committee next year.
