LUC is delighted to have won an award for a Claypits masterplanning project at the Scottish Design Awards yesterday.
The Claypits Masterplan project outlines the significant potential of the Glasgow canal as a connector between disadvantaged communities, to invigorate underutilised greenspace and to encourage and promote activity, wellbeing and health. The project encompasses the establishment of a Vision, Development Framework and masterplan for the canal corridor between Applecross and Firhill Basins, supported by extensive community participation.
The project won in the Regeneration category at a black-tie awards ceremony in Glasgow yesterday evening.
