LUC’s ‘Landscape Implications of Solar PV Developments’ in Mid Devon adopted as SPD
We are delighted that our guidance on the siting and design of solar PV developments within the landscapes of Mid Devon has been adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).
This report will help both the local authority and solar farm developers take account of the District’s varied and highly valued landscape character when considering development proposals.
It includes a detailed landscape sensitivity assessment of the different parts of the district to different size categories of solar PV development.
The SPD can be viewed here.
