LUC announces Lucy Gara as speaker at Employee Ownership Association Annual Conference
LUC is thrilled to announce that Lucy Gara, Trustee and Associate Planner at LUC, will speak at the upcoming Employee Ownership Association (EOA) Annual Conference.
The event, taking place on 27-28 November at the ACC Liverpool, promises to be a unique gathering of over 700 Employee Ownership (EO) sector business leaders, employee-owners, professional advisors, and delegates interested in the EO model.

The EOA Annual Conference will provide two days of immersive learning and networking opportunities. Attendees can look forward to engaging sessions aimed at sharing insights and understanding the challenges faced by EO businesses.
Lucy Gara, who sits on LUC’s Trust Board representing all our owners, will co-deliver a workshop with Jeremy Gadd from J Gadd Associates on 'Your Employee Owned Governance Strategy'. Their workshop will demystify the concept of Governance, shedding light on the intricate relationship between the Main Board and the Trust Board as an 'active owner'.
LUC transitioned into an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) in 2019. This transformation allowed the company to empower all its employees, making them stakeholders in the company's future. The LUC Charter, introduced in 2022, reaffirms the company's commitment to core values and ensures that every decision aligns with the aspirations of its employee-owners.
