Oakfield has been shortlisted for the 2021 National Urban Design Awards in the ‘Framework + Masterplan Midscale’ category.

Nationwide Building Society commissioned LUC to be part of the £50million housing development in 2016. LUC worked on the landscape strategy for Oakfield, including proposals for open spaces, streetscapes and the public realm. Our arboriculture experts also input into the planning application.

LUC has worked closely with Metropolitan Workshop – the masterplanner and architect for the scheme – and has been fully involved in the project through planning up until the tender stage.

The National Urban Design Awards celebrate the best in the design of towns and cities, streets and spaces.
