LUC is proud to be a sponsor of the upcoming Place North West Greater Manchester Development Update conference.

The event will be held online on 10 September 2020 and will provide briefings on regeneration projects and developments in Greater Manchester. Speakers will talk on how the city is expanding and the boroughs pushing to deliver ambitious, mixed-use developments.

LUC’s Associate Director of Planning, Melissa Kurihara, and Senior Planner, Lucy Wallwork are confirmed to speak. Other speakers include representatives from Investar Property Group, Glenbrook and Stockport Council.

Melissa and Lucy are set to speak on the role and function of the Manchester Green Belt and the implication of release to accommodate sustainable development.
