LUC Planners published in IEMA Journal
LUC’s Environmental Planners, Kate Wigley and Jo Cottin, have been published in Volume 7 of IEMA’s Impact Assessment Outlook Journal.
The article presents their thoughts as experts on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) cumulative best practice. IEMA notes that the article seeks to propose different solutions to cumulative effects assessment. This may lead to a more reasonable and fair set of conclusions using their extensive experience in the context of onshore wind developments. This is a sector with an approach to assessment which is arguably more developed than most.
This volume, titled ‘Demystifying Cumulative Effects’, brings together six thought pieces written by IEMA professionals and EIA experts, looking at the consideration of cumulative effects in EIA. The journal provides a guide to cumulative effects assessment in EIA across UK practice.

We’re really pleased to share that Swiss Cottage Open Space has won a BALI National Landscape Award in the Community & Schools Development category. As landscape architects for the scheme, it’s great to see this recognition for a project that has created a welcoming and much-loved space in the heart of Camden.
