LUC celebrates two years of Real Living Wage pledge
This week is Living Wage Week and we are delighted to celebrate two years of Living Wage accreditation.
This means we pledge to pay staff and third-party contractors above the minimum wage, recognising the costs of everyday life.
The government minimum wage is £7.70 per hour. The Real Living Wage, based on what people need to live, is now £9.30 per hour, and £10.75 in London.
Our Living Wage Foundation accreditation reflects our commitment to creating an environment in which colleagues can flourish and make a positive contribution to our local communities.
