LUC sponsors Women in Planning dinner at Regen Planning Conference 2026
LUC is proud to sponsor the Women in Planning dinner at the upcoming Regen Planning Conference 2026, taking place on 27 January at Osborne Clarke, London.
The event will bring together developers, planning consultants, lawyers, and policymakers to discuss the rapid transformation of the UK’s energy and planning landscape.

Sophie Nioche, Associate Director of Environmental Planning at LUC, will also be speaking at the conference. Sophie brings over 15 years of experience in environmental impact assessment for renewable energy and large-scale development projects across the UK. Her session will focus on delivering effective planning strategies in line with the UK Government’s Clean Power 2030 targets and the Strategic Spatial Energy Plan.
2025 marked a landmark year for planning reform, and 2026 promises further change with updates to the NPPF, the Planning and Infrastructure Bill, and new approaches to community benefit funds. The conference will explore how these reforms, alongside national clean energy targets, will shape project delivery and public engagement.
