Rochester Riverside named ‘Winner of Winners’ at Housing Design Awards 2020
We are thrilled that the Rochester Riverside Phase 1B residential scheme has been named ‘Winner of Winners’ at the 2020 Housing Design Awards – the top prize.
The project also won in the ‘Building for a Healthy Life’ category.
Working with a developer-led team of Countryside Properties and The Hyde Group, LUC was selected to help deliver Rochester Riverside, a new community that will transform the area between Rochester’s historic town centre and the River Medway.
LUC is part of the core design team, collaborating closely with two architectural practices at both conceptual and masterplan level.
Director of Landscape Architecture, Mark Fisk, said: “We’re very pleased to see Rochester Riverside phase 1B recognised at the Housing Design Awards. It sets a strong foundation for this exciting new urban extension. We look forward to continuing our work here, delivering the landscape framework for a healthy new community, and making the most of the sites fantastic setting on the bank of the River Medway.”
