LUC has recently obtained planning permission for four Padel Tennis courts at the Rocks Lane Multi Sports Centre in Chiswick.

LUC’s Development Planners prepared both the Planning Statement and the Planning Application for the scheme. We demonstrated compliance with the NPPF, London Plan, Local Plan and other material considerations relatiing to the provision of new sporting facilities.

The improvement of Padel Tennis facilities will ensure Rocks Lane Multi Sports Centre can maintain a high-quality sports provision to the local community. The new courts will enable more people to access the sport, benefitting both their physical and mental health.

Padel Tennis is more accessible than other racquet sports, as it is less technical and is easier to play. It therefore attracts a wide diversity of players in terms of age, gender, ability and experience.
