LUC sponsoring RTPI Young Planners’ Conference in Milton Keynes
LUC is excited to sponsor the RTPI Young Planners’ Conference in Milton Keynes.
Thames Valley Young Planners Committee (TVYP) is hosting The Young Planners’ Conference on 21 – 22 October 2022. Throughout the two-day conference, delegates will have the opportunity to listen to a wide range of quality speakers, participate in interactive sessions and share their views. This year’s theme is ‘Utopia or Dystopia’.
Sofie Swindlehurst, Associate Ecologist at LUC, will speak at the ‘Building for Biodiversity’ breakout session. The session will explain the impact of the Environment Act 2021. It will help Young Planners ensure they can plan to meet its requirements, whilst challenging the status quo to plan and inspire better outcomes for the environment in the long term.
