Sarah Miller to speak at Napier University Employment Insights event
Sarah Miller, Consultant Ecologist at LUC, is due to speak at an Employment Insights event at Napier University next week.
Sarah will address MSc students studying environment-related degrees, overviewing her experiences so far as an Ecology professional. This includes her involvement with ecological surveys, technical reports, geospatial information systems (GIS), and Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) services.
She will also offer a general insight into her career since graduating, along with some useful tips to help students stand out when applying for jobs.
The event will demonstrate the types of roles available to graduates of environmental science. It will also provide a forum for students to ask questions from professionals working in the industry.
As an alumnus, Sarah has presented at careers events on behalf of Napier University since her graduation in 2018.
Other speakers at the event include representatives from NatureScot, ARUP and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
The event is due to take place online on the 25 October.
