Seascape Character Assessment for Dover Strait launched
Kent County Council and Pas-de-Calais Council have today launched The Seascape Character Assessment (SCA) for the Dover Strait.
As market leaders in SCA, LUC developed this new reference document and planning tool, which is the first of its kind anywhere in the world to recognise the complexities of sustainable Strait management.
The study will provide a baseline benchmark for the Councils, helping ensure that decisions take into account economic, social and environmental factors, and support the development of a long-term (20 year) vision for the Strait.
