LUC provides EIA services for Sheirdrim Renewable Energy Development
LUC submitted a request for an EIA Scoping Opinion to the Scottish Government Energy Consents Unit (ECU) for Sheirdrim Renewable Energy Development in Argyll and Bute, on behalf of ScottishPower Renewables.
26 turbines up to 149.9m to tip, battery storage and ground and roof-mounted solar are currently proposed. This project grows LUC’s portfolio of Section 36 wind farm planning and EIA expertise.
LUC also supported Energiekontor UK through the provision of expert EIA project management and review services for the proposed Wull Muir Wind Farm, near Heriot. The site comprises up to eight turbines of up to 130m to tip.
The application was validated by the Scottish Borders Council on April 2.
