Solar PV Park granted planning permission
Collacott Solar PV Park, near Barnstaple, North Devon has been granted planning permission.
LUC produced the LVIA and landscape mitigation plan for the 4.5MW scheme, which will cover an area of 8.5ha.
The revised land use allows the landowner the opportunity to gain longer term exposure to stable revenues without compensating their own traditional agricultural practices as the land will still be utilised for grazing livestock. The community will also receive a fund which can bring socio-economic benefits to the local area.
