LUC to create sports facilities for St. Davids School
We are pleased to have secured consent for an all-weather playing field at St David’s School in Purley, London.
LUC led the negotiations with Croydon Council, coordinated the application and prepared the planning statement. We helped ensure that the scheme would have minimal impact on the residential amenity of surrounding properties, through achieving a layout and scale of development that positively responds to the context and character of the site and its surroundings.
The scheme will replace an existing grass pitch and include the creation of a secondary pedestrian entrance. The new all-weather facility which will enable the school to promote physical activity all year round, rather than just when the field is dry enough for use.
