LUC co-hosted and spoke at a webinar alongside Planning Futures and Kings Chambers last month.

The event explored how a new role for strategic planning could be crafted to sit alongside the other proposals contained within the “Planning For the Future” white paper.

LUC’s Jonathan Pearson, Associate Planner, gave an overview of the benefits of strategic planning, current arrangements, and changes heralded by recent government announcements.

Hannah David from Planning Futures chaired the webinar. Other panellists were Andrew Lewer MP (Vice Chair APPG Housing and Planning); Martin Carter (Kings Chambers); and Laura Ambler (West of England Combined Authority).
