
LUC to sponsor and speak at TCPA’s ‘green spaces’ conference
LUC is participating in an upcoming conference on ‘Green spaces, healthy places’, hosted by TCPA and the Green Infrastructure Partnership.
LUC’s Alison King, Principal Landscape Architect and Jennette Emery-Wallis, Director will be speaking on the morning of July 12 about the evaluation tool that LUC is developing to assess the health and wellbeing impacts of our design schemes. The seminar is entitled “Measurable delight? Assessing play places for health and wellbeing impacts”.
The conference will also welcome speakers from the University of Sheffield, Peabody, Arup, and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare. Attended by public health practitioners, landscape architects, developers and academics, the conference aims to evolve the debate about the health and wellbeing benefits of green space. LUC is a proud sponsor.
