University of Warwick Faculty of Arts Building wins two regional RIBA awards
The University of Warwick’s new Faculty of Arts Building (FAB) has recently scooped two prestigious regional RIBA awards.
Our landscape architects worked with architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios on this landmark project, uniting the Arts and Humanities Faculties in one building, fostering new collaborations in the heart of the University campus.
The RIBA West Midlands Award 2023 and RIBA West Midlands Building of the Year Award 2023 commend the creation of ‘a vehicle for collaboration and cross-pollination of the arts while drawing inspiration from the site’s unique parkland context.’ The new building is set within a landscape of intimate seating plazas and themed planting areas, under the canopy of existing mature trees.
The building has now been shortlisted for a national RIBA award.
