The Scottish Green Awards announce Hagshaw Development Framework as finalist
We are happy to announce that the Development Framework for the Hagshaw Energy Cluster is a finalist for The Scottish Green Energy Awards, in the Sustainable Development award category.
The innovative framework will guide future sustainable development, including renewable energy development, within the Hagshaw Energy Cluster in the South Lanarkshire and Easy Ayrshire regions. It identifies opportunities to invest in the local environment and community that will leave a positive and lasting legacy for nature, people, and place.
Our Landscape Planning & Management team worked closely with NatureScot, South Lanarkshire Council, East Ayrshire Council, and Architecture & Design Scotland to establish the framework. They co-ordinated stakeholder engagement and consultation to help shape the framework and produced the Development Framework document.
