Lundies House achieves prestigious Gold List status

We are thrilled to announce that Lundies House, a meticulously restored 1842 clergy house transformed into a boutique hotel, has earned a coveted spot on the Gold List of the best hotels in the World.

Lundies House is part of Wildland's portfolio, owned by Anders and Anne Holch Povlsen, encompassing various properties across three Scottish Wildland estates. The holistic vision of Wildland Ltd extends beyond Lundies House, spanning approximately 220,000 acres of the Highland region from the north coast to the Cairngorms, contributing to a pioneering conservation project.

LUC has been a key partner in supporting Wildland, contributing to various aspects of the project. This includes providing landscape and visual and ecological advice and assessment, as well as landscape and ecological design for planning applications. Beyond the initial phases, LUC continues to provide detailed landscape architectural services throughout the construction process. Lundies House holds a special place as the first project undertaken by LUC to reach completion, and we are delighted to witness its well-deserved recognition on the prestigious Gold List.

While construction progresses across the broader suite of properties, Wildland has its sights set on opening additional hotels and facilities, set in and around beautifully restored historic buildings, within this magnificent natural landscape over the coming years. The ongoing commitment to conservation and quality ensures that each endeavour contributes to the collective success of Wildland's visionary project.
