LUC work picks up in the Republic of Ireland
LUC is excited to embark on several new commissions in the Republic of Ireland. Projects include:
- Cork City Green and Blue Infrastructure Study
- Fingal Cultural Heritage and Climate Change Risk Assessment in Dublin
- Athenry Public Realm Enhancement Project in Galway
- Design of the proposed Yeats Trail in Sligo
These recent commissions build on our existing diverse portfolio of work in Ireland which encompasses planning, landscape planning, urban design, masterplanning and ecology.
LUC is currently assisting the Marine Institute in developing the evidence base for Ireland’s Marine Plan. We are also preparing the Thurles Masterplan and Renewal Strategy for Tipperary County Council.
Recently completed projects include mapping light pollution in the Mayo Dark Sky Park and preparing the Drogheda and Monaghan Access and Orientation Plan for Failte Ireland. Our clients in Ireland include Government agencies, local authorities, and third sector organisations.
LUC has also been appointed to the Multi-Party Framework for Strategic Environmental Assessment and Appropriate Assessment for the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government. We are also working in partnership with Fehily Timoney on the Wind Energy Framework for Environmental and Planning Services for Coillte.
Please get in touch with us about any of our existing projects in Ireland or to discuss any new opportunities.
