LUC in the finals of the Working Families’ Best Practice Awards
The shortlist for the annual Best Practice Awards has been announced today by work life balance charity Working Families.
LUC is pleased to have been named as a finalist in the Best Small Employer category of the Working Families’ Best Practice Awards. Employers large and small from many sectors compete annually to reach the shortlist for the unique business awards for flexible, agile organisations.
LUC has offered a wide range of flexible working options for many years and is now focussing on evolving that flexibility to cater for its diverse workforce. Flexible hours, home working, additional leave and bespoke working arrangements are part of the employee experience throughout the organisation and from recruitment to retirement.
Helen Ash, HR Manager at LUC, said: “Agile working is at the heart of LUC’s strategy to create an environment where people flourish, and this reaches out beyond the workforce to our families, communities and professions. It’s a matter of sustainability on a human level.”
Sarah Jackson OBE, Chief Executive of Working Families and Chair of the judging panel, said: “Congratulations to LUC whose flexible, agile approach has earnt them a much-coveted place in the shortlist of this year’s Best Practice Awards. We had a record-breaking number of entries in 2018, but LUC’s outstanding entry in the Best Small Employer category caught the eye of the judging panel.”
We will be finding out the results from the awards at a ceremony at London’s Vintners’ Hall on 20 June.
