LUC celebrates World Environment Day 2018
LUC celebrated World Environment Day this year across all six offices by encouraging staff to take part in a plastic-free picnic.
Members from all areas of the company brought in food to share with colleagues that used no single-use plastic in the process of making it, in an effort to reduce plastic consumption. During our picnic, LUC tuned into IEMA’s ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’ webinar which explored how the Canary Wharf Group is showcasing the commitments their organisation has made to reduce single-use plastic usage and help combat plastic pollution.
Although it was proven slightly difficult to avoid the material, Team LUC had fun discovering and sharing new ways to cut down on single-use plastic.
