W.B. Yeats sculpture unveiled in Bedford Park after LUC obtains planning consent
This week, LUC proudly attended the unveiling of the sculpture ‘Enwrought Light’ by Conrad Shawcross in Bedford Park, London.
LUC worked since January 2020 preparing the pre-application and application stages for the W.B. Yeats Bedford Park Artwork Project. The London Borough of Hounslow granted planning permission last year for the installation of the sculpture commemorating poet W.B. Yeats alongside two informational plaques.
Although Yeats is the only Nobel-Prize-winning poet brought up in England, he does not have a monument anywhere in the country. ‘Enwrought Light’ now fills this gap.
Our client said: “Many thanks, Olivia and Jon, you’ve both been tenacious, diligent, reassuring, realistic… and so professional!”
