LUC is developing the landscape masterplan and detailed design proposals for the new University of Peterborough.
Working alongside Mace Group and MCW Architects, our proposals will create a pedestrian-focused campus, connecting students to the nearby city centre. A series of SuDS features and landscape improvements will transform a neglected area of hardstanding into a new place for Peterborough. Our plans put biodiversity, attractiveness and safety to the forefront.
The building plans are currently undergoing public consultation. Feedback is being sought ahead of planning permission application, expected to be submitted in early Spring.
The campus is due to welcome students in September 2022.
We are also undertaking ecological surveys of the site to minimise negative effects on the environment.
