LUC advances play space improvements strategy for Tower Hamlets
LUC has recently completed the draft Children's Play Spaces Audit and GIS Mapping report for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
The report stems from a rigorous analysis of existing play provision within the borough.

Building on the success of the recently adopted Doncaster Play Parks Infrastructure Policy, LUC is now positioned to bring positive transformations to Tower Hamlets. The report will serve as the foundation for collaborative efforts with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to inform the siting of future play sites.
Conceptual schemes will also be prepared for two existing sites, aimed at improving the quality of play provision and ensuring inclusivity across age groups. Drawing on evidence-based strategies and community engagement, LUC remains committed to delivering tailored solutions that enhance community environments.
The forthcoming conceptual schemes will directly leverage the analysis outlined in the report. This initiative aligns with LUC's mission to create vibrant, accessible, and community-centric play spaces.
As LUC continues its commitment to enhancing open spaces nationwide, the Tower Hamlets project marks a significant step forward in delivering practical and impactful improvements.
